Baby and Me Storytime

June 3, 2019, 10:00 AM - 10:30 AM @ Children's Programming Room

Ages: Birth to 18 months This storytime is for babies from birth until 18 months and their caregivers, and it's a nice blend of early literacy fun and bonding - there will be rhymes, songs, puppets, and many cuddles and tickles!

Monday Madness - Baba Kwasi

June 3, 2019, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM @ Municipal Ballroom

Each Monday during the month of June, we will bring a unique guest into town. June 3 we will be presenting Baba Kwasi- The oldest drum beat in the world. Kids and adults better bring their dancing shoes as this loud and energetic group take stage. Kids will learn how people communicated with drums and what different beats mean.

First Monday - Southeast Quadrant Bulk Waste & Brush Collection

June 3, 2019, 7:00 AM @ East side of Travis Street, east to the city limits. All Houston Street, south to the city limits.

Please have Bulk Waste and Brush at the curb no earlier than Saturday prior to your collection week and no later than 7am on Monday of your collection week. Do not be alarmed if your items are not picked up on Monday. It may take 3-4 days to complete a quadrant.
