Will my disconnected/inactive cell phone call 9-1-1?
Yes, all disconnected/inactive cell phones will call 9-1-1 as long as the battery is charged. REMEMBER, if you give your child your disconnected/inactive cell phone to play with, PLEASE REMOVE THE BATTERY. Children that are given these phones have continuously called 9-1-1. This could cause someone that has an actual emergency to receive a delayed response and/or loss of life. Ultimately, this is a preventable waste of precious time determining if there is a true emergency or if the child is only playing.
