Where can I obtain information about downtown incentive programs?
The Sherman City Council has approved two incentive programs for the Central Business District. The first is The City of Sherman's Historic Building Restoration and Improvement Grant Program for the Central Business District. The second is a Tax Abatement Program to promote development and redevelopment in the Central Business District Tax Reinvestment Zone (same area as the Grant Program). An informational brochure is provided for your information. If you are interested in pursuing either or both of these programs, please contact the City Manager's Office. Packets and additional information and assistance are available to you.
