Prayer Bears

Thousands of Prayer Bears are given all over the United States, as well as seen all over the world today. A Prayer Bear is a teddy bear in simple design sewn from brightly patterned fabric. An attached card has a message adapted to the need: it tells the recipient that the bear is a symbol of comfort. Each stitch is hand sewn by volunteers who hope their loving touch will show the recipients love and support they have for them. Prayer Bears go to many hospitals, cancer centers, and overseas to show love and support for our troops. Also they are given to those experiencing grief, sickness or difficult circumstances. If you want to volunteer drop in on a regularly scheduled meeting time or call us for more information.
