Payment Options

General Information:

Accepted forms of payment are cash, money order, check and credit card (Visa, MasterCard and Discover). For payments made with a check, your name must be printed on the check. We do not accept temporary checks.

Utility customers now have the ability to "schedule" utility payments. Customers that are registered with the City of Sherman's website to access their utility account(s) online may now:
  • Schedule a one-time payment for a future date; and/or
  • Schedule monthly payments for advanced months.

Customers will have full control of the scheduled date and the ability to update payment methods, as well as cancel payments prior to the scheduled date.  Please note: Payments scheduled for dates beyond the designated due date will not prevent late fees or termination of service for non-pay.

The maximum credit card payment is $1,000.

Call 1-877-631-7798, enter your account number and street number from the service address to pay with a credit card or electronic check.  The maximum credit card payment is $1,000.

Drop Box
No cash payments please.

Drive-through boxes located at:

  • 405 N Rusk - north end of the Municipal Building
  • Hallway by the payment windows of our offices at the Municipal Building

Mail
Please do not send cash in the mail. You may pay by Master Card, Visa or Discover by filling out and signing the section on the bottom left of your payment coupon.
