Every Monday from January 6 through February 24, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for babies, birth to sturdy walkers, around 18 months, and a caregiver. We will meet in the Storytime room next to the Toddler Hall.
Come and enjoy a sweet time with your baby! Baby and Me offers your child and you a lot of time for cuddling, singing, and rhyming. Everything we do is designed for our youngest learners and you!
Tuesday and Wednesday 10-10:45 AM (18 months - 5 yrs)
Every Tuesday and Wednesday from January 17 through February 26, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. for children ages 18 months to 5 years old and a caregiver. We will meet in the Storytime room next to the Toddler Hall.
Our Storytime is full of books, music, puppets and fingerplays. Kids earn a new paperback every 4th week. Older and younger children are welcome to attend; however, the free books are reserved for children ages 18 months-5 years old.
For kids ages 9-12. Please sign up beforehand!
Every 2nd and 4th Thursday, 4:15 p.m.-5:00 p.m.

Do you love to create masterpieces using 3D pens, technology, paint and more? Come join our Create Club, just for kids ages 9-12! Snacks and activities are included. To sign up, please call Youth Services Librarian Melissa Salazar at 903-892-7240.

Sonata I: Mondays from 4 - 4:45 PM
Sonata II: Tuesdays from 4 - 4:45 PM
Kids ages 6-8 can come and learn to read music and how to play the violin. There is no cost for this program, but space is limited and reservations are required. Sign-ups for Winter Sonata are December 30, starting at 9 AM sharp, and spaces fill up quickly. SPLAT! Sherman Public Library Advisory Teens
Teens ages 12 - 18 are invited to join SPLAT. Talk about books, help choose materials for the library, plan teen programs and more. SPLAT meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month from 5:00pm to 5:45pm.
All SPLAT! members are required to fill out an application form. You can download the application here or come to the library to pick up a copy.
D&D and Board Game Night
We have D&D Nights at the Sherman Public Library booked through the end of the year! The D&D group will now meet every Thursday from 4:30-7:30pm. Whether you're an experienced player or you've never played before but are interested, come and check out the fun and adventure on Thursday nights!
