Utility Billing is responsible for maintaining positive customer relations and providing connection, disconnection, and billing and collection services for water, sewer and solid waste utilities. Included in this task is the reading of water and sewer meters.

Account Access 24/7
The City of Sherman Utility Billing website offers utility customers account access 24/7! Click On-line Payments to register for account access.

*Please note: Credit card payments made online and over the phone incur a $1.25 convenience fee per transaction.

Obtaining New Service
Residential customers may now request new service online. Just click the Activate Services link on the left navigation bar. Online service requests require a minimum notification of five (5) business days. For all commercial services or residential services needed in less than five (5) business days, you must come in to the Utility Billing department located at 405 N. Rusk. A 1/2 day notice is required for same day service.

Paying Your Bill
The City of Sherman offers several different payment options. In addition to mailing a payment or paying in person at the Utility Billing Office, customers also have the following payment options:
