Adoption
We have many wonderful animals available for adoption here at the City
of Sherman Animal Shelter. All animals available for adoption were either
given to us by the previous owner or were not reclaimed by the original
owner after a period of 3 days. The availability of any animal is subject
to change at anytime. If you see an animal pictured that you think may
be a welcome addition to your home, write down all of the information,
especially the ID number, and give us a call. We can tell you if the
animal is still available for adoption or has already found a new home.

Animals are also placed on cable channel 32 for
viewing.
Adoption fees are $33 for a cat or kitten and
$44 for a dog or puppy.
The adoption fee includes for the following 3
services to be provided by a participating
veterinarian:
