Children Programs

 Baby and Me Story Time
Every Monday from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for babies, birth to sturdy walkers, around 18 months, and a caregiver.

Enjoy a sweet time with your baby! This story time offers your child and you a lot of cuddle time, singing, and rhyming. Everything we do is designed for our youngest learners and you! The session will be 12 weeks, beginning on September 14 and ending on November 30.

Read to Win Story Time
Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. for children ages 18 months to 5 years old and a caregiver.


This story time is full of books, music, puppets and fingerplays. Earn a new paperback of your choice every 4th week. Older and younger children are welcome to attend; however, the free books are reserved for children ages 18 months- 5 years old. The Fall Story Time session will be 12 weeks, beginning on Tuesday, September 1 and ending on Saturday, November 21 with no story times on Wednesdays, October 7 and November 4, and on Saturdays, September 19 and October 24.

Young Readers *NEW*
Every Monday from 4 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.


Something for our new readers! This afternoon program is for elementary aged children. We will practice our literacy skills together in a fun environment, doing activities, crafts, hearing and acting out stories, and more. Begins Monday, September 14 and ends on Monday, November 30.

Special Programs 
Trick or Treat Village
Children ages 12 and younger are invited to come with caregivers on a trip through Booville on Saturday, October 24! This come and go visit is from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Practice all your trick or treat visiting skills to get ready for the big day, a week later.

Halloween Pajama Story Time
Families with young children are invited to celebrate the Halloween holiday with books, songs, rhymes, and a special puppet visit. Come in costume or in PJs!

Christmas Pajama Story Time
Come get in the Christmas spirit early and decorate the library's Christmas tree on Tuesday, December 8th from 6:3 to 7:30 p.m. with our Christmas Pajama Story Time! Families with young children are encouraged to come celebrate. Don't be afraid to wear your PJs!

Tours
We would love to show you our library! Tours for groups of children can be scheduled by calling Mrs. Stuck at 903-892-7240.
